Job Description:
Saab, Inc is looking to hire a highly skilled Senior Production Test Technician that performs a wide range of challenging tasks. With limited guidance, prioritizes, and executes responsibilities. May review the work of other personnel. Applies company policies and procedures. Troubleshoots and resolves issues. Considered content expert with respect to test equipment and peripherals. Involved in process improvement and development. Influences other leaders and team members in order to increase test efficiency.
Job responsibilities:
Effectively uses appropriate tools and computer skills such as MS Office applications.
Ability to decipher required data from assembly drawings, schematic and wiring diagrams
Ability to utilize instruments such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, signal generators, power supplies and multimeters
Ability to troubleshoot simple electro/mechanical nonconformances
Effectively uses problem solving skills and analytical thinking
Ability to solder simple electronic devices and assemblies.
Responsible for assisting in several components of a project.
Ability to assign root cause to non-conforming assemblies
Compensation Range: $24.09- $28.89/hr
The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.
Skills and Experience:
Associate’s degree, technical/business school, or equivalent
7+ years of relevant experience
IPC/J-STD-001 certification a plus.
Citizenship Requirements:
Must be a U.S. citizen. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
